# How To Link an EXISTING ZortsID After Receiving a Sign-up Link

## Below are step-by-step instruction on linking an existing ZortsID to a new event when you receive a sign-up link from a coach.

> Before completing any of the steps below, you will need to have received an **event sign-up link** from your coach or club administrator.

 

> **Tip:** We recommend creating your Zorts account—or logging in to your existing account—**before clicking the event sign-up link**. This will help ensure a smoother registration process.

    1. Click the sign-up link to navigate to the registration page.

    2.Click the "**ZortsID**" drop down and select your participant's name.  If you own multiple ZortsIDs, make sure you are selecting the correct one.

    3. Click 'Join' at the bottom of the page.

### **iPhone App**

 

    1. After clicking your event sign-up link, click "**Join/Follow**".

    2. Click on the field labeled "**ZortsID**".

    3. Select the participant's ZortsID. If you own multiple ZortsIDs, make sure you are selecting the correct one.

    4. Click 'Join'.

### **Android App**

 

    1. After clicking the event sign-up link, enter your participant's name in the provided fields.

    2. Click "**Join**".

    3. The system will alert you that your participant is missing info. Click "**Fix Now**".

        a. If you do not receive the "Missing Items" notice, click "**Eligibility**" in the top right.

    4. Click "**Link ZortsID**".

    5. Select your participant's ZortsID. If you own multiple ZortsIDs, **make sure you are selecting the correct one.**

    6. From the drop-down menu, select **"Link".**
