For Parents & Athletes
ZortsID Requirements

All athletes must have a ZortsID to participate:

All athletes and coaches get a ZortsID FREE for the first year. (discount is applied automatically on the payment screen)

  • Regular Cost: $12.80 (valid for one year from purchase date).

  • If the athlete already has one, they can link their existing ZortsID.

  • If they do not, they must purchase a ZortsID.

To obtain a ZortsID athletes must upload:

  1. One official form of identification:

    • ✅ State/federal birth certificate (no hospital keepsakes)

    • ✅ Passport

    • ✅ State Issued ID
     
    • ❌ Military IDs and visas are not accepted

  2. A headshot photo that meets the following requirements:

    • Must be a clear, front-facing headshot of the athlete

    • Athlete should be alone in the photo

    • No hats, bows, or headbands covering the face

    • Neutral background (plain wall preferred)

    • No filters or effects

Every detail is scrambled into unreadable code, stored separately in secure vaults, and never shared or visible to anyone—not even us. Simply put, even if someone tried to break in, the data would be useless to them. You can feel confident knowing your child’s personal information is safe.

All sensitive data is end-to-end encrypted and protected using modern Elliptic Curve Cryptography (ECC), ensuring confidentiality and integrity at every step. Our zero-knowledge architecture means only the participant controls access to their information—neither we nor any third party can view it. To further reduce risk, we employ compartmentalized data storage, isolating datasets so that even in the unlikely event of a breach, information remains protected and unusable.

Biometric Information

We take biometric measurements only from the photo you upload — nothing else. To protect your privacy, this biometric data is stored in a format that is unusable, unrecognizable, and by itself can’t be associated with you or any other individual. It is encrypted at rest and in transit.

Your biometric data is kept in its own secure system, separate from your personal profile information, with special access controls. Even if one system were hacked, there’s no way to connect that biometric data to your name, photo, or any other personal details.
